Data protection and Privacy notice

The Allerton Players is a not-for-profit organisation. For the purposes of data protection law, the Allerton Players is the data controller.

We only hold and use personal information for essential membership management purposes. We will seek consent for the purpose of sending out newsletters and other information.

We will not share information unless the member has given permission for a stated purpose.

We will only keep information to fulfil administrative and legal requirements.

Your information will be deleted from the records within two years of you ceasing to be a member.

If contact is being made with a large section of the membership by email then blind addresses will be used. If a member has signed up for a specific activity with a small sub-group then it may be appropriate to include the email addresses of all those in that group. If any member feels that their email address is particularly sensitive, then please contact us using the contact details below.

Members have a right to lodge a complain with the Information Commissioner's office.

The Allerton Players would like to use images of our activities for reporting, promotional and communication purposes. We will inform affected members and seek their consent.
