Grace and Lily, residents in an old people's home, are bored. Nothing ever happens to them - so they decide to make it happen by kidnapping Pansy, the care assistant, and demanding gin, cigarettes and a budgie. Pansy gets in on the act and they all conspire to get her married to her reluctant fiance, Derek Columbo. But when the police arrive, things don't go completely to plan. 

This zany comedy bagged the following awards at Saltburn Festival : Best comedy moment (Chris Donnelly) and Best supporting role (Christine Trenholm). There were also nominations for Best Production, Best Director (Richard Henry), Best Actress (Deborah Hugill), Best Cameo (Chris Donnelly), Best Set and Most effective staging.
